Basecamp — What to Expect
🎯 SPECIAL NOTES:
Porta potty available on-site (tentatively arriving July 1st)
Rustic camping: $10 per tent or vehicle per night
Electrical sites: $25 per setup per night (advance booking recommended) [Hook Up Date TBD]
- Low light Pollution / Dark skies
- Firefly season mid June- early August
🏕 THE CAMP SETUP:
Rustic tent or vehicle camping (self-contained units only — tent, van, small RV)
Choose your spot: tent in the field, car tucked partway down the path, or hammock tent in the treeline
Fire pits and picnic tables coming soon
Electrical sites available by pre-booking (limited spots) [Coming soon]
🔥 COMMUNITY & SKILLS PRACTICE:
Occasional workshops: fire starting, first aid refreshers, van build discussions
Guided foraging walks & field ID (mushrooms, plants, etc.)
Shared campfires when conditions allow
🛠 FIELD PREP & GEAR TRIALS:
Low-pressure space to test camping gear and practice setups
Friendly community for gear tips, troubleshooting, and idea sharing
Opportunity to refine minimalist setups and build confidence for bigger trips

Please use the Reserve Camping Spot form to book your preferred date.
Onsite Porta-potty coming soon, temporary accommodations at park down the street.
Dry camping only (no on-site water)
